On June 19th, 2022, it was announced that Spook Show 17 had won The Dances With Films Festival Audience Award for Pilots TV. This was the first public screening of our pilot episode and it was met with much love and acclaim. Not only did we win our very first festival screening, but we also sold out the entire viewing at the TCL Chinese Theater. 

 

Dances With Films slogan is “Defiantly Independent Since 1998” which goes hand in hand with Spook Show 17’s aesthetic and we are honored to walk away with a win, confirming that this reality show is as unique and noteworthy as we are confident it is. After filming, editing, and producing the entire reality show in-house, it was a pleasure to premiere the show independently as well, with a festival that holds similar values.
